Quick Overview

Our two centre Autumn Migration tour gives you the best opportunity to see birds on migration by spending time at two of the best migration hotspots on the east coast. The trip will start with three days in and around Gibraltar Point in Skegness before moving on to spend the rest of the week at the iconic Spurn Point, East Yorkshire. If you have always wanted to experience the thrills and excitement of migration but don't feel you have the experience to get the most out of it, then this is the trip for you. Our two expert guides will do their best to get you into the heart of the migration action and help you get the most out of the prevailing weather conditions.

Highlights will include searching for rare and scare vagrants brought to our shores, watching seabird passage for gulls, wildfowl, divers, skuas and auks and experiencing the vast numbers of waders and wildfowl returning to over-winter on the East Coast.

Accommodation will be provided on a half board basis with three nights (Sun to Tues) at yet to be confirmed hotel near Gibraltar Point and three nights (Wed to Fri) at Westmere Farm near Spurn Point who will look after us and also provide packed lunches if required. Locating the trip in these two centres means we are ideally placed to visit whichever sites have the most birds on the day, giving you the best chance of seeing as many species as possible.
